Co-financed programmes based on the visibility and power of an international network
Joint programmes include large-scale business prospecting action plans that offer the unique opportunity of involving multiple international partner regions (Investment promotion agencies – IPA’s and economic development orgaisations) in the same mission. Based on a network logic, joint programmes use substantial resources seldom available to a public authority acting solely. These programmes are for the most part multi-sectoral and generally run over several years.
The concept of “joint programmes” was initially the very same as that which led to the creation of Regional Partner in 1994. The originality of this approach lies in the make-up of one network of regions who join up long-term to a shared business prospecting and set-up identification plan. The budgetary implications also reinforce the attractiveness of these formulas with public authorities and economic development agencies (cost sharing) alike. These prospecting programmes are sectoral or cross-sectoral (i.e. innovative start-up businesses, industrial or services business, logistics, call centres etc.).
In 15 years, Regional Partner has designed and implemented over thirty major programmes directed at French and foreign businesses.
